This website is owned by Making Me (the Charity), registered charity number 1176751, of 63 Garfield Street Bedford MK41 7RZ.  If you use the website, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out here from the date that you first use it.  The Charity may change these terms and conditions from time to time, and if you use the site after any changes have been made you are agreeing to the new terms and conditions.  We reserve the right at any time to withdraw or amend the service or materials on the website.

The laws of England and Wales apply to this website and these terms and conditions, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

  1. Accessing the website

The Charity may restrict access to some parts of the website to users who have registered with us.  If you choose, or are provided with, a user code, password or any other information as part of our access and security procedures, you will keep that information confidential and not disclose it to any third party.  We have the right to disable any such user code or password if in our opinion at any time you have failed to comply with these conditions of access and use.

The Charity owns the name and logo of Making Me [and it is registered as a trademark number UK00003516382).  You cannot use it without first obtaining the Charity’s express written permission.  The Charity owns or has been allowed to use the pictures, videos and other materials on this website.  This includes the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics, and any other form of downloadable content.  If any pictures, videos or other materials are owned by someone else, that fact will be apparent, and then you will need to ask the relevant person or organisation’s permission to use them.

[10.        Errors and refunds

If you have made an error in a one-off donation, or if you change your mind about wishing to donate to the Charity, we will refund your donation, provided that you contact us within 7 days of the donation being made.  Your refund will be credited to the card from which it was taken.  To request a refund, please email contactus@makingme.org.uk with the subject “Donation refund” and include your name and address and the donation amount you would like to be refunded.

If you become aware that your card has been used fraudulently, please contact your card provider.

Donations made by Direct Debit are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.  This policy complies with the guidelines set out by the Institute of Fundraising.]
